Grandma Cindy comes to visit!

Last night we had to say "BYE" again to dad. Jason has been here for the past 2 weeks and we have had such a relaxing time. Unfortunately he had to go back to work this week! He will be returning Thursday and we are looking forward to it! It is not easy to get around with my 3 girls by myself! His mom (Grandma Cindy) came out for the weekend and we had fun spending time with her as well. We are looking forward to seeing the rest of our family in AZ soon, we miss them! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.....

Ava LOVES when her dad plays with her on the Beach! She's in her HEAVEN!

Daddy and Em Bug... He does such a good job with her. She NEVER gets left out!

BEACH FUN!!!!

We have been having such a great time at the beach! Sorry for all the pictures, it's part of my scrapbook! Most of these pictures are from the beginning of our trip. My husband has been gone and we are anxious to have him and Emmie back this week. Our family certainly doesn't feel the same when we are apart...... Needless to say, we have been having fun shopping, eating out and playing at the beach!

I just LOVE this picture, it definitely explains him! This is my nephew Austin, he is such a smart aleck! It has been quite entertaining living with a bunch of teenagers!

It is so amazing how fast time goes by. I found out I was pregnant exactly one year ago this week on this beach and now I am back with a 3 month old baby. This past year has FLOWN!

~Sunday Stroll~

We are on our annual Laguna Beach vacation and we are having so much fun! We came for my little sisters high school graduation and we are staying on for the summer near my parents house in a rental! We look forward to this trip every year. Jason left after the graduation and is home with Emmie as she is attending summer school. We worked VERY hard to get her into this program not knowing for sure whether or not we would be here in Laguna for the summer. I am missing her so much and can't wait to see her soon! We stayed with my parents while finding a house and Ava has been having a BLAST with all her cousins. My parents live in a "Leave it to Beaver" neighborhood and it has this amazing park just down the street with tennis and basketball courts and the kids are LOVING it. All the kids were trying to catch a stray bunny hopping through the park. You don't see this in Gilbert, thats for sure! Instead you see.... Roadrunners, scorpions and coyotes! But, this doesn't change that I am still an Arizona girl! So, we took a Sunday afternoon stroll to enjoy the beautiful day..... Happy Sunday!

This sunburn makes my heart ache, I surely didn't feel like mother of the year at church! People kept asking me what happened to my poor baby?!?

Sunblock Anyone?

We took a break from the beach the other day and decided to use the pool at the Marriott that we were staying at in Newport. We were out there all day under an umbrella due to the fact you can't put sun block on babies till they are 6 months of age. My sister could tell by the 5 th hour out there that my poor baby was getting BURNT. I thought it wasn't possible due to her not being in the sun for over 5 minutes in the pool. Needless to say, I have a daughter that had blisters under her eyes the next morning. I wasn't very happy with the Marriotts cheap umbrellas! I think I should call them and inform them you can still get the UV rays while sitting under umbrellas. Not good when you have RED hair! Now, I will be spending unnecessary money getting her photo facials when she is of age to cover up her FRECKLES! HA!

This is the result 3 days later

Don't you just want to SQUEEZE her?

She is VERY loved by all her cousins

Pittsburgh trip!

This post is late but we had a great trip! My step-sister Amy, lives in Pittsburgh and her husband plays for the Steelers. Jason and I went out there again this year for the mon. night game and we had so much fun! Jason was in heaven! It was the Steelers 75th anniversary, mon. night game and travis was starting (#90)! There was every football legend there from the past 75 years! The fans are absolutely crazy! I have never seen anything like it! When you fly in, the entire plane chants, "Here we go steelers, here we go!" It makes me so sad that Az doesn't have fans like that. Maybe it's because there is nothing to be excited over. SAD! I'm so glad that we made it this year because after 11 years in the NFL he is retiring. I love the Kirschkes! They are the MOST humble, down to earth people. They have 3 great children and I adore them. It is always so sad to leave the kids. We had a great time staying up everynight so late laughing & talking about old times. Jason and I got to sleep in every morning and they had to get up early with their kids! I felt so bad! Thanks for the great weekend amy and trav! You sure do know how to entertain. You did such a great job mon night Trav and we are so proud of you and your accomplishments! What an amazing family! We love you guys! And mom, thanks for making it possible for us to go. We sure did miss our kids!
