Better late than never! We had such a great
Easter this year. I wasn't very happy about how early it arrived but oh well the baby and I got some alone time while everyone went off to church! Saturday morning Jason took the girls to
Traceys ward Easter egg hunt. The Easter bunny was there and Emmie of course liked him but Ava wasn't so sure. Jason said she wouldn't even step in for a quick picture! Then Saturday evening we colored Easter eggs and got ready for the big day. It seems like the more kids you have the later you stay up trying to get prepared! My husband of course got to bed at a decent hour while I got to stay up! I guess you always try to do the same little traditions that you grew up with and I am beginning to wonder if he had any!!!! He
definitely has his good qualities but playing the bunny isn't one of them! Sunday morning came fast and we had Grandma Cindy over and our friend David for breakfast. The kids found their eggs and baskets and then I got them all ready for church. Emmies primary class had the sharing time in primary and her amazing teacher used her in the lesson that was on the atonement. Jason said that he was touched and felt the spirit so strong. I was so sad that I had to miss out. One of the down falls to having a baby that close to Easter! After church, we went over to my sisters for Easter dinner and our 3rd
easter egg hunt! The kids always have so much fun together! We missed some of my family that didn't make it down but we hope they come next year! Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays. This year was extra special because I was blessed to have my new baby here! We hope you all had a great Easter and were able to reflect on our Saviour!
