I can hardly believe it! We heard about this over a week ago and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. President Monson finally announced it this morning that they are building 2 more temples in Arizona. One in Gilbert and one in Thatcher. Being a NATIVE of gilbert it is an amazing feeling to have a temple right here where I was raised! IT will be on the corner of GREENFIELD and PECOS and its actually in my ward boundaries! It is the Draper, Utah temple. I will be able to see it daily as I drive in to our subdivision! I feel so blessed to be in such an amazing subdivision around so many awesome families! I love this gospel and don't know where my life would be without it!

how exciting! and you get to drive by it everyday??? wish! We are so far from a temple ..the snowflake one is seriously so far..like 2.5 hrs and then after you go in for 2+ hrs, eat and drive home, it's an ALL day thing! So now I can make a weekend outta it and stay down n the valley. now the mesa temple will hopefully be less crowded.
My sister called me on saturday to tell me they made the official announcement! I thought of you and knew you guys would be so excited!
