Bad Mom?
Anyone that knows my little Em bug knows that she is obsessed with Strawberry Shortcake. This is going on for like 3 yrs and she won't watch anything BUT that! It's kind of annoying! Ava woke up for the 2nd day sick. Jason took Emmie to Stake Conference and I stayed home with Ava. So, Ava hasn't been exposed to cartoons yet due to Emmies obsession with Strawberry. She has NO clue what they are. After they were off to church, we took a bath and cuddled in my bed. I decided to put cartoons on for her because I am sick of Strawberry too! She was so excited, i felt so bad. My other reasoning for not wanting her to watch TV is because I can't stand when kids beg for toys they see on commercials! When Jason returned all she could talk about was all the cartoons she watched and how she loved them. I feel so bad that my daughter is 4 and has never had the opportunity to watch cartoons. Don't get me wrong... she has a DVD player in her room and watches all movies. She finally "GETS" what everyone is talking about when they talk about Hannah Montana! Am I a bad mom or what?

That is so funny! YOur not a bad mom, TV is such a waste of time anyway. Ok you guys need to teach me to text. I got your message, but it is 10:00 and I don't want to wake you if your in bed. Sydnee seriously knows how to work my phone better than me!
tiffany, sorry i deleted my comment because the information i gave you wasn't correct about the pop up window. i just clicked on my comment link and a new window pops up so that's why my music continues to play...you just need to go to customize-then settings-then comments-then click "yes" for show comments in a popup window. that will do what mine does and your music should continue playing.
My kiddos are hooked on cartoons so I'm impressed! And, Kennedi came to me yesterday and said "I want Polly Pockets!"
no. most would say that's being a Good mom not letting cartoons babysit your kids! Glad you had some mommy-ava time. Sometimes being sick has it's blessings!
That is so cute Tiff! Dont feel bad Bronson never watched kids shows. He went straight to Spiderman and Starwars. i think it is cute how she is a part of Emmie's world!
LOL....you are never a bad mom for keeping your kids from watching TV....I am embarrassed to say that my kids are obsessed with Spongebob...even my 20 month old begs for Spongebob so I DVR it so they can watch it around the clock...okay I just threw up in my mouth....I am that bad mom...LOL!

That's so sweet that Ava was so excited..just be glad that she's not begging for some show that's not on right now...try explaining that. Zane still doesn't get it. Anyways some of those shows aren't very good for kids. Trenton can't watch power rangers cuz' he's play fighting at school and gets in trouble!
